Project 2

For the second assignment, we were grouped into a group of 6-7. The second assignment is titled "Daylighting", which is an element of sustainable architecture that focuses on utilizing natural lighting or sunlight/daylight. We discussed various sustainable buildings that mainly incorporates this approach, and conducted thorough research for about 4 weeks. The building we chose is called Mecenat Art Museum in Hiroshima, Japan. We researched on sunpath diagram, design concept, daylight analysis, ASHRAE, passive design strategies, comfort factors, etc. of the building.
