Project 1: Geometry & Form

In project 1, we were introduced to basic understanding of the architectural design elements and principles; furthermore, creating 2D artworks (tattoo stamps) and transforming them into 3D form (models).

Model 1

The first model represents my first chosen element and principle, which are shapes and hierarchy.

The dominant shapes present here are rectangles, and they're surrounding the middle structure; therefore, presenting hierarchy by placement.

Model 2

The second model represents my second chosen element and principle, which are lines and symmetry.

As seen in the model, there are lines of varying lengths and heights. The lines gradually increases in lengths and heights as they move towards the centre. It also represents symmetry when a horizontal and vertical line are drawn across the middle.
