SEMESTER 1
Semester 1 started in August 2021. Since COVID restrictions and guidelines are still relevant during this time, lectures and activities are conducted online (via Zoom calls). My experience from past online learning was not the best, but given the situation, it's the best that we could do for now, also given that some students live abroad. With maximizing online resources throughout our online learning, we were able to complete the first semester successfully.

My first semester experience was something; there were lows and highs, but overall okay. Here are the 3 different courses I took this semester.
Modules
Architectural Design 1 is structured as an introduction to architectural design. This preliminary design module aims to present and explain design through the expression of the perception of ‘self’ and the body, construction, and materiality in terms of tectonics. Students are introduced to fundamental methods, principles and approaches in design thinking and basic spatial design.
Design Communication introduces fundamental skills for the appropriate communication of architectural design. It engages different means of visualization and expression of space and spatial ideas through architectural drawings to prepare students with the skills required in design projects.
Architecture History & Theory explores a chronological history of the developments of Ancient architecture to Western architecture through various gamification and technology applications.
